Songkran Festival
Here are some pictures from the recent Thai new year celebration / water wars in Chiang Mai, Sukhothai and Phitsanoluk. The last shot is a self-portrait. It won't win me any beauty contests, but it illustrates the insanity of Songkran. This is what happened to me in the short distance I had to walk from my tuk-tuk (cab) to my hotel in Bangkok.

Yes, some kind of thick paint/paste combo that is also all over my luggage.
In the picture you took of yourself you really do look like you are about 15.
