Dear America,You're so far away, but I felt so close to you today. I know you've been doubting my loyalty lately. I can't say I blame you, but please remember that it's normal for relationships to go through these rough patches. This is just a break, not a break-up.
I admit that my affair has been totally cliche. I left your security, wealth and status for a younger country that was smaller in size and promised me a good time. I simply couldn't resist! I got carried away, but today got me thinking about all the good times we've shared. Just give me a little more time to sow my wild oats. If you allow me this fling, I promise I'll return to grow old with you.
New Zealand is fun, but my heart belongs to you, America.
Forever yours,
MoCo

i thought you left your heart in bermuda?
or is that just the place we left our morals?
All right girlie! You've brought tears to my eyes. Your country misses you and awaits you with arms wide open.
aunt mary
yay, I'm happy you miss America. I have to admit before you left it crossed my mind that you may extend your stay longer than planned.
I have never been so proud of my country as last night. America rose up and said with a clear voice, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Racism, Fear, and Bigotry, while not completely vanquished, have been beaten back into the shadows by the unwavering light of Liberty.
We are left to bask in the enduring expression that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
The awful days of Cowboy, side-shooting foreign policy are over. America has returned. We now have someone who we can all get behind, someone we can all say, "I am working for him AND with him to restore America's founding vision and fading reputation."
Once again the world is in awe of us. Look what America did. They righted the ship. They are still the beacon of hope.
Impromptu rallies sprung up from Birmingham to Chicago, from North Broad Street in Philadelphia, to Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C. America woke up. Now that we are awake, TIME TO GO TO WORK!
Alex, you are so inspiring...and right!
Looking forward to your return!!!
Mom, Meg, Aunt Mary - Awww, thanks! It won't be tomorrow, but I'll be back in due time. For now, I march on in my hunt for the young Kiwi male.
Candy - Our morals are scattered near and far.
Alex - You have a flare for the dramatic. Uram in 2016! After wins by the Phillies and Obama, I think you need a nap.
Little Brother - If you could please re-direct your praise towards the blog author... that'd be great thanks:)
