Fear not, dear readers. I am still alive and well in New Zealand. I am on the road again after conquering the south island and spending a week in my adopted hometown of Wellington. The great Kiwi road trip continues for one more month in the north island! Time flies.
I am trying to travel a little bit lighter at each stage of this journey. If you know me, you will understand how difficult that is. At this point, I made the gut-wrenching decision to leave my laptop in Wellington. That 2003 model is just too big and heavy to lug around. Unfortunately, this means the blogging may get even slower and picture-less. I will do my best to keep you updated from internet cafes (while I'm surrounded by Asian teenage boys playing computer games).
