SPF

Three cheers for December in New Zealand! Tank tops! Convertibles! Beaches! Daylight until 9pm! I thought the day would never come.

This weekend, I learned the hard way that NZ has the highest UV ratings in the world due to the lack of ozone. I then paid $18 for a small bottle of sunscreen (on sale from $25). I will pay any price to remain wrinkle free.

Glad you're finally starting to warm up. Now it's our turn to be jealous of your weather.

We're having our first snow and you're blogging about SPF! Good grief; it really is your turn to gloat!

On a different (but weather-related) note, all your (way) earlier post on the crazy NZ weather reminded me of one of my favorite bands, Crowded House - from NZ. They had songs like "Four Seasons in One Day" and "Take the Weather With You" - your blog explains a lot!
